An unexpected turn

Well, I put the call in to our agency last week that we wanted to move forward with gathering information on this sibling set. What we found out was surprising to our agency, as well as us. There is a third sibling - a boy, age 4. He was just identified as a brother to these two kids on Thursday.

Wow, three kids. I actually considered that for a while, but to be honest my gut reaction was to withdrawal our interest. I didn't make any immediate decision so that Brian and I could talk and pray over the weekend. Without going into all the details, Brian and I both feel like we are not being led to adopt these three children. We want to do what is best for our family, and unfortunately we don't feel like we can take that on at this time.

We pray for these kids, and sincerely hope that they find their family soon.

Wow! You titled this right on with "An unexpected turn"! Good thing you guys found out now. You guys are always in our thoughts and prayers. The Lord has given you so much strength to endure this process. Your future child/children will be well worth the wait!

I just love reading your blog, it seems everyday has something new!

Oh, I know you must be disappointed.
(((Hugs))).. There was a sib group we considered briefly last year but knew they weren't "ours". They are home now with their family and it is THE family God had for them.

Your little one is coming soon!
Blessings,
Renee
