We're back!

We're back from our long weekend in Spokane.  We had a great time seeing distant relatives, remembering my grandmother, and celebrating Easter.

Last time we were in Spokane, we were just there for a quick visit and got ourselves a cheap little hotel room.  It was fine for the six of us for one night, but definitely not something we would want to do for a longer stay.  Well, this time we were able to rent a 3 bedroom townhome for three nights (for about the same price as that hotel room, by the way).  It was wonderful being able to spread out, cook meals, watch movies and play games while the kids napped, etc.  We even had a fun little yard for the kids to run around in, and a basketball hoop out front.

I am working on some posts with some fun pictures in them.  So in the meantime, here are a few from the park downtown, right before we headed to the Old Spaghetti Factory for dinner.

You didn't know we were so cool, did you?

Hi Shana,

I'm not so much commenting on the trip or pics, but wanted to let you know about a book called Orphans and the Fatherless.

If you would like to check it out, go to www.orphansandthefatherless.com

Sorry, I didn't see an email! :)
