In case you don't believe me, here is proof.

These pictures are actually pretty tame, considering we could see what we thought was white bone.  It was actually tendon, and thankfully it wasn't severed.  Three stitches, a bandage and some antibiotics later, and Biniam was out of the ER and back home.
