Facelift: Emma's Room (before)

I've been itching to give Emma's room a facelift for a while now. I've always thought she had a really great room, but it's been pretty much the same (minus some rearranging) for three years now.

The room started with the chandelier, which was a great find off ebay about four years ago. I held onto it until Emma was ready for a "big girl" room. We painted the stripes on the wall, which I still love. I think they give the perfect amount of detail and whimsy.

So I'm going to be keeping the base colors the same, but updating fabrics and a few accessories. Stay tuned over the next couple of weeks for the "after" shots!
