Big Milestones!

It seems like I have lots to blog about lately. First off, I am happy to report that Isaiah is now sleeping 12 hours at night between bottles! He does still wake up occasionally during the night, but is quickly comforted back to sleep.

Another big achievement is that Isaiah is now sitting up on his own! He's been really close for a while, and we finally got the boppy pillow out of storage to use as his safety net, and he's having a blast!

In two days we will have had Isaiah for a month. I can't believe how quickly time is going by! Tonight our social worker is coming over for our 1-month post-placement interview. We actually haven't met this social worker before, so it will be interesting having a stranger review our family and tell us how we're adjusting. I'm just anxious to get all this formal stuff behind us.

And lastly, my surgery is finally happening tomorrow. If you think of it, please pray that everything goes well - especially with figuring out childcare arrangements that suit everyone best.

I am thinking about you, I'm just WAY behind in my blog reading. I'm thrilled to hear about Isaiah's progress, and even happier to see him so content with his new sister. 8^)

I hope the suregry went well, and look forward to future updates!
