Week Wrap-up

Yesterday was an off day for us.  Noah had minor surgery in the morning, which meant Brian stayed home from work in the morning, which meant no school got done in the morning.  The rest of the day was pretty much spent with helping Noah through his recovery, throwing dinner in the crock pot, and mixing in a lesson or two of school.

Today we're playing catch-up, and getting ready for the weekend.  I love weekends.  But the key is that they HAVE to feel different than the weekdays for me.  I get all depressed if we don't have some sort of plans to mix things up a bit.

This weekend will be busy getting ready for Noah's 3rd birthday party.  Noah and his best friend were born 1 day apart, so we are throwing both boys a joint party at a new indoor play area in town.  Should be fun!

Brian and I are still moving forward on design plans for our house addition.  Although before we get really serious we have to make sure things are steady for Brian's job.  A lot of things are in motion at Brian's company so we're just waiting to see if/how they might affect Brian.
