Each month at Emma's school there is a focus on a different character trait. Each teacher is allowed to pick one student who has displayed that character trait and nominate them for an award.
A few weeks ago Emma came home from school and casually mentioned, "I am going to be on stage at school to get my award". Huh? Well, thankfully a few days later we received a letter from the principle, saying that Emma was receiving the award for Integrity!

Each recipient was given a flower that they could give to their parent, or grandparent, or whomever they choose. Emma kept hers.
