My Love

Right now the love of my life is running. Outside. In 30 degree weather. I tried to go with him, but turned around early. Brian was practically skipping, and I was almost crawling. At the time, I hated him. Not really - I'm probably just jealous that after not running for who-knows-how-long, Brian can just throw on his shoes and crank out 4+ miles.

Okay, this isn't turning into the nice valentine note I was hoping for. Let's try again.

Brian, you are my precious husband; my closest friend. I love the way you make me feel special, and the way you care for me. I love that you bring me water at night. I love the way you love our kids. You are such a good father. I love that when you are alone with the kids, you are 100% capable of caring for them all. You are a good provider. A good listener. You keep me in check when I get overly emotional about things. You love me for who I am. You are good at projects around the house, and you never get mad when I add "just one more thing" to the list. I love that you're kind of cheesy, and that you call me on the phone when you hear "our song" on the radio. I love that I get to spend the rest of my life with you.

Will you be my valentine?

Absolutely.... I cannot think of a better person to spend the rest of my life with. You are my perfect best friend, girlfriend, wife and mother to our four beautiful children. I love you so much.

Your more than adoring hubby.

Aaaaahhhhhhhhhhh

Something like what Brian just responded with is just what I wanted to hear after (so many years ago) he took me out to Sluggers Bar & Grill and asked my permission to marry you.

The two of you are perfect!
