We had a wonderful Mother's Day which included my brother and sister-in-law from Virginia, and my in-laws from Bainbridge. Brian and all the husbands did a fantastic job of spoiling us Moms over brunch at our house. The food was amazing, and some of the men even donned aprons, which was a treat in itself.
Sunday morning at church we dedicated Noah. It was so fun to have our family of six on stage, and a treat to have our out-of-town family there to witness it all. Another treat was Emma lifting her dress and flashing the entire congregation.
Friday night I hosted a baby shower for my sister-in-law, who is due at the end of August with a baby BOY! I boxed up all Noah's clothes that he's grown out of and sent them off for my new nephew. (I apologize in advance if there is any snot on the clothes...I may have gotten a little emotional over them.)
The rest of the weekend was full of fellowship, food, kite-flying and mastering the Rip Stick by a couple of midlife-crisis-ers.
Oh, and I have lots of laundry to do.

Okay, so much to comment on!
First, LOVE the family picture! It is perfect and you all look so happy!
Second, what sling is that? Is it the HotMama one? I've tried the PUJ and I don't care for it. Noah looks all snuggled in that and I wonder if Gracie would like it.
Third, you look fantastic!
Glad you're back on the blog!
What wonderful photos! Thanks for sharing. It's great to hear that you are all doing well.

Laura, that sling is a Hot Sling, which I ordered, but you can get some of them at Target. I also have a Peanut Shell. The PS is a little roomier for baby (maybe it's just a bigger size?) and it has a pocket and little "D" ring for clipping stuff to. I like them both. I used the HS in Ethiopia with Isaiah when he was 1 year old, so you can get a lot of use out of them. I could probably still use it for him.
