Today was my first day home with just me and the kids. My crew (aka Dad and Kathy) left on Saturday after helping us out for a week. It was so nice to be able to sleep in while they were here, and only have to worry about feeding the baby and myself. I was a little bit nervous about how things would go today, but they went great! We ate waffles for breakfast, did some laundry, everyone got dressed, and I even got to hit the treadmill. I was able to get in a short afternoon nap, but timing it just right with three kid's naps and Biniam's arrival home from school was a little tricky. I do think Biniam learned his lesson about waking me up from my slumber to ask me if he can have gum.

Little Noah is doing so great. His skin color has changed noticeably in the last couple of days to a paler, more even tone. I think his little bit of jaundice must have cleared up. To me it just makes him even more perfect, and a little older looking (which I'm not happy about). Two nights ago Noah went a blissful 8 hours between feedings, giving us six straight hours of sleep. So I guess it makes sense that last night I don't think I ever got more than 45 minutes of straight rest. Maybe tonight we'll balance out somewhere in the middle.

Right now it's just me and Noah enjoying a quiet evening while Brian has all the kids out grocery shopping. What a great guy!

Here are a couple pictures of Noah's different expressions from Saturday, and a few nap time pictures from today.

The first thing I thought when I saw the photos was that he's losing his "newborn look." He's just beautiful, Shana. Hope you can get some rest!!
