Saturday we drove about an hour up into the mountains to take the kids sledding with some friends. There was the perfect amount of snow, and the weather wasn't too terribly cold (though still below freezing). Everyone had a great time!
On their first run down the huge hill, Brian and Emma got doused with snow spraying off the front of the sled - it looked like a white cloud coming down the hill. Neither of them fared too well from that (as you can see in the pictures) so we soon opted for the smaller hill.
Isaiah was fairly content to sit in his sled or be held by me. The poor guy was so bundled up that he could barely move his limbs. A few times he would just let his head hang to the side, probably because he knew his clothing would hold it up!
It was a great day to spend with family and friends, and I think Biniam's first real experience in snow was everything he had hoped for.

Biniam looks so happy, Emma is adorable, and Isaiah looks like he doesn't know what to think! So cute. Brings back memories of when I was a kid in a place and time where it snowed a lot! Sledding is about the most fun you can have while your nose is freezing off. :)
