Isaiah Chronicles

Isaiah is learning new words daily, it seems. In addition to the handful of words he was saying a few weeks ago, he is now saying "hi", "balloon" (boon), "Isaiah" (eye-ay-ah), "dog", "bottle" (ba-ba), "wow", and maybe a few more I'm not thinking of. He has been pretty stubborn in using sign language, however he has the sign for "milk" mastered, and sometimes even double-signs it with both hands for extra effect.
This kid has a temper in him that when it shows up, watch out. But he also has a silly streak in him that can put our whole family in stitches. Last night, for example, Isaiah had just puked all over Brian (they were rough-housing right after a bottle) so everyone was scared to let Isaiah get too close to them. Isaiah figured this out and tormented everyone by walking up to them, leaning his head in and sometimes even making gagging noises. Emma and Biniam were hiding under blankets, and everyone was cracking up.

Here are some pictures of places I have caught Isaiah recently. Not pictured: Isaiah crouching on TOP of his high chair tray, ready to stand up.
