Yesterday was actually supposed to be a day of celebration, in that it was Brian's last long commute home from work. Starting Monday he will be working the same job, but in a different location, reducing his commute from almost an hour each way to 15 minutes each way.
Well, I am just glad Brian made it home at all. He was heading straight through an intersection on a green light, when an oncoming truck failed to yield and turned right into Brian. Thankfully no one was hurt, but Brian's car was left un-drivable.
