I'm in Heaven!

I am staring at a picture of my baby boy, who is wearing the outfit we sent him, and who has the picture album and wrist rattle we gave him! Oh my gosh, he is just the cutest thing. I am so in love with him! It occurs to me that this is our first family photo - with all four of us in it! Okay, so some of us are picture-in-picture.

We also got word yesterday that our case is being filed in court today! So, I think that unofficially puts us in group F. Yay! Now we wait to get that confirmed, and then to find out when our court date is. I am told it has been taking 20-30 days from time of filing, to the court date. But our agency director didn't totally rule out the possibility of our court date being before the end of the year. So, we're praying for God speed!

In one last piece of good news, yesterday I found out that an "e-friend" of mine got a referral for a baby boy from Ethiopia, who is one month younger than Isaiah. And, she lives one town away from us! I am so excited that our son will have someone with a similar background to grow up with!

That is wonderful news!! You are so lucky to get a picture with such a beautiful smile. We had to wait until we met Grace in person to see her gorgeous grin. There is something so special about the "welcome bag" photo. There is finally a real connection. Congratulations!!!

He is so cute!!! We never got to have the welcome bag experience b/c of the unique circumstances of the adoption; what a cool thing!!!
