Emma's "Big Girl" Room
For the past few days we have been working on putting together Emma's new "big girl" room. Actually, for the past 6 months or so I have been mentally designing and slowing collecting pieces for the room. We decided to make the guest room her new room, and keep her current room as the "nursery" for the new baby. The inspiration for Emma's new room is a chandelier I bought off Ebay last year - it is lavender and green flowers, so that is our color theme. We are painting wide stripes on the walls in two shades of lavender (which has proven to be a LOT of work, but well worth it). The new bed won't be here for about 6 weeks, so it will be a while before we are completely done.
Here is a picture of Emma "helping" me with the stripes.
